Reflecting on the Success of the Digital Accountancy Show 2023

Dive into my personal insights and memorable encounters at the Digital Accountancy Show 2023, a phenomenal event that exceeded expectations and fostered industry connections.

The Digital Accountancy Show 2023 has come and gone, but the memories of this remarkable event will have a lasting impact on those who attended. As someone who eagerly anticipated the event, I am thrilled to share my experiences and satisfaction with the show's success, participants, and exhibitors.

Firstly, I'd like to express my gratitude to the organisers for putting together such an outstanding event. Thanks to Dan Cockerton, Martin Roby and #DAS23 team The Digital Accountancy Show 2023 lived up to its promise of providing valuable insights, networking opportunities, and showcasing cutting-edge technology in the accounting industry.

I had the pleasure of meeting some of my favourite participants, including representatives from AAT, Quickbooks, and the Bright team. As a FMAAT, it was a delight to see AAT's presence at the event. Their stall showcased their commitment to the accounting profession, and I had the opportunity to engage with the wonderful people from their team. I'd like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire AAT team, especially Tom Duncan, Tim Bowers, and Mary Balogun, for their warm reception and insightful conversations. Honestly, I enjoyed talking to Mary’s camera. Hope she presents us with something beautiful.

Other notable individuals I encountered at the event included Tim Eatwood from Funding Options, Nevdish Hir from Bright, and Radha Garg from ACCA. Each of these professionals brought unique perspectives and expertise, contributing to the event's overall success as an exhibitor.

Exhibitors such as Jordan Coleman and John from Quickbooks showcased the latest accounting software and tools, demonstrating how technology continues to revolutionise the industry. Their presence added immense value to the show, allowing attendees to explore innovative solutions and stay ahead in the digital age.

Lastly, I was overjoyed to reconnect with my dear friend Libby, a fellow award winner from the 2017 AAT Annual Award Ceremony. It was a nostalgic moment, reminiscing about our achievements and the Magazine Cover of AAT Magazine that followed.

In conclusion, the Digital Accountancy Show 2023 exceeded my expectations and proved to be an incredibly successful event. The connections made, knowledge gained, and experiences shared will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on my professional journey. I eagerly look forward to future events and the continued growth and innovation within the accounting industry.
